question: Is microphonic feedback that super shrill worthless kind of feedback that amps do sometimes?

Correct. The kind that makes your brain stop working till it stops.

I hate that shit! I didn't even know what it was. I've heard that preamp tubes can go microphonic (or be microphonic in the first place if they're shitty tubes) is that generally the source of the problem or can it come from somewhere else?

I've been using my bass amp (b25) as a guitar amp recently and its FUCKING AMAZING. It sounds like everything that an amp should be.

It can come from a variety of problems. An example is when the singer puts thwe mic too close to the monitors and everyone screams as they try to remain sentient beings.
