My new Acer Aspire 5600 runs very hot (CPU temp gets up over 60 degrees during moderate computing); I've seen tons of various cooling pads on store shelves that claim to work wonders. Does anyone have one that works well for them?

I have one from Antec that works pretty well.. Meaning, it keeps it at a reasonable temperature.
Does your laptop fan blow out through the bottom? From what I've read you want to keep the airflow going in one direction, and the Antec that I see everywhere appears to suck air down rather than blow it up. I need one that blows air up, since my laptop's air intake is on the bottom and it blows out the side.
How many times are you going to ask the same question?
lol at "moderate computing."

I just got one a little bit ago and posted about it in my overheating thread.
It works great. Buy it.
What's it called? Today I saw one I'm leaning towards called the ChillMaster. I'll post a link.
I actually helped you, asshole. I gave you a link to four sites that all say that the cooling pad I linked you to was great. Stop making these asinine threads and www.justfuckinggoogleit.com.Quote:
