I haven't started it, but Metal Saga is supposed to be fun, free-form, unique, and interesting. Don't let that get in the way of you denouncing it because you can find some ugly screenshots.

It's pulling in a wopping 60% over at Game Rankings. Somehow I think thats pretty solid proof that it's probably not the best game to come out this year.

Only 12 PS2 games have sold over 200,000 copies this year in Japan. Of those, at least 6 of those are Square-Enix titles (FFXII, Dirge, KHII, Valk 2, DQ: Yangus and Front Mission 5). I believe that only something like 3% of all games released in Japan sell over 200,000 units.

LAWL! Silly Japs wasting their time and money on Dirge. They really don't know shit about gaming anymore except for the few developers here and there that still manage to turn out good games that aren't RPG's.

Okami certainly won't be goty in Europe this year, as it will be released february 2007. We got served, again...

Since Shadow of the Colossus was released in Europe on february 1st, 2006, that will be my choice.

This thread is making me sad I don't sport either 360, DS or a high-end PC. Also region restrictions sadden me.
