Diff and MarkRyan are both 100% on the money in this thread.

I haven't played enough new games this year to pick a winner, but I do think FFXII has the best chance of taking the crown, given FF's track record (although, I didn't care for X much at all, so you never know).

Vib Mojib or whatever it was called had more complex brush paintings (Okami's are very very simple) and it was fine.

The DS couldn't do Okami... that is just crazy talk.

And I'm sure a PS2 game would port quite easily to DS and it would retain all of it's amazing style and graphics.

I don't think anyone here could hoenstly say that I've ever gone out of my way to agree with people so they like me. If anything I've gone out of my way to pick fights with people I don't like.

I can't do that in this case because Okami looks amazing. I didn't know before today becuase I had assumptions and some old screenshots to go by, but the fact of the matter is I'm excited by it now.
