I just watched a couple episodes on youtube, and yeah, it's still awesome.

There is this guy on ebay selling all the episodes( Mighty Max) on 3 dvds. Not sure if he's still around, but I bought a box set from him.

Both look slick to me.

I'd like to see some bandages flowing around Mumm-Ra though. Maybe just a few wrapped around his hands/wrists...

That Mumm-ra looks nothing like a mummy. I guess that's his battle form or something.

Lion-O looks anarexic and his sword is almost as big as him. How will he be a match for that massive Mum-Ra? I know he transforms and all, but that's just sickly looking.

You have a strange concept of anorexia. He looks lean, but muscular... sort of like, I don't know... a cat?

It fits his personality better. I always thought it was kinda odd that he was this big he-man type, but totally child-like and naive in terms of personality.
