Leipzig Games Convention 2006

I'm going to sleep, so feel free to update the thread if (when) anything else gets announced. Nintendo's conference is over now, and Microsoft's is starting. Sony doesn't have a conference for this show, and in general there probably wont be much PlayStation presence (other than four minutes of new MGS4 footage). Anyway, what's been announced thus far:

I read a quote a while back that Nintendo actually mandated that - they want to show the functionality of the Wiimote alongside the screens, so people don't just look at the screenshots and say "LOL Gamecube". So every promo image will probably have it until launch....and possibly beyond.

What's PES 6? Isn't Perfect Eleven up to like 10 or something?

I think it's like our old Final Fantasy numbering issue. Not all the games made it to Europe under the PES name.

Don't sleep on Resistance or Armored Core 4. Resistance is seriously looking like it's going to give Gears of War a run for its money - there's some bigtime crazy shit going on in that game.

FPS have never and will never sell me a system though. Whichever ones happen to be on a system I own I might play.

Resistance looks stupid, DMC is the SOS, Ridge Racer blows, fuck it all.
