What was weird was that I could see and hear bbobb fine when I couldn't see and hear Mzo.
Then Mzo left, and I could hear bbobb, but his character would sometimes move around and sometimes never leave the starting position.
You also had issues seeing how many robots were still alive. I think you need to loosen up the panties on that router of yours

I replayed all the same levels we did in co-op single player today on Normal and got zero new weapons except a grenade launcher. :cry:
At least my health is where Mzo's was yesterday. He's probably at 1,000 now.
Specific weapons drop in level ranges, and new types drop in the higher difficulties (except easy and normal, which share the same drops iirc). As long as you're picking up every weapon box you see you should be getting the vast majority of them.
The end game on the hardest difficulty is impossible without a pretty high minimum amount of health. That's why I started on easy to bulk up with health, some basic weapon drops, and for them trophies to boot.
So I'm better off going further on easy than farming on normal. That should be less monotonous too.
I've never farmed anything in the 360 game and I don't expect to do it here. Just picking up everything you see as you go through the difficulties should be enough, especially if we're not going to have to solo the really hard parts.
The last level we played was in the city with a ton of the giant robots. We got hammered pretty quick.
We were doing fine when it was a couple robots. But then there were a ton. Three at once would focus on you and rape your shit.
There has to be better weapons...
I was able to solo the beach level with the robots on normal pretty easily, but that next one tore me up again. I was ok until all the NPCs died, and there were still a half dozen or so robots to all focus on me.
Did you use the heli or tank?
I used the heli for the last two robots, but I wanted to make sure I got the loot, so I mostly ran around the beach firing missiles.
Play on easy I guess! I use snipers for everything.
Unlocked the Pale Wing.
She is awesome.
She starts completely from scratch with 100 health, 2 weapons, and it doesn't share level completion with the regular guy. I'm don't know if I can beat this game that many times, you guys. We should totally play again soon, though!
What do you have to do to unlock her? I'm at level ~20 on Easy and have only gotten like two new useful weapons since we played. The Tortoise 2 destroys those robots though.
Play through all the missions. I did it on easy.
The only weapons I ever use are the latest version of the Assault Rifle (unless it's a weird ass model with bad accuracy or V shots), the latest grenade launcher for outdoor swarms, sometimes the latest shotgun for tunnel swarms, and the latest sniper for everything else. The Lysander is the shit for a really, really long time.
With a good sniper you can take the carriers out almost as soon as the mission starts.
I've never used the Pale Wing before and all her weapons are energy-based and really weird. Gonna have to actually try them out and see what works.
They added a bunch of weird weapons I didn't recognize at all and there are some new levels sprinkled in here and there bringing the new total up to 60.

I beat a bunch more levels last night, but I'm still not close to done with the initial play-through. After I finish Ni no Kuni, maybe I can dedicate enough time to finishing this. I propose we all get back together once we're ready to start the Pale Wing.
I've put it aside because I'm playing other stuff but I'm down for co-op anytime! Text me or whatever whenever.
