My fiance has a launch system and it has never had a problem.

All this talk about 360s breaking down worries me a little...I don't want to lose all my 360 and Xbox saves, etc. Hopefully they do come out with a larger HD and I can transfer stuff so I can use this one as a backup.

You can back up all your saves on a mem card. I think all the XBLA stuff you can DL forever if you buy it the first time. Not sure.

I got mine at the tail end of February. I've gotten a couple DRE's, but it's very rare. I bought the Best Buy warranty just in case. I might intentionally try to break it before the warranty runs out. :p
