Thats a true fucking statement right there. I've blinked and wrecked out.

It's definitely a dealbreaker for me.
First there's no splitscreen in CoD4, and now no offline whatsoever in Paradise?!? I don't like this trend at all, nossir.
While I would grudgingly accept no splitscreen, I cannot understand why on earth a console game with an online multiplayer component would not also include system link. If there's some kind of technical difference, please enlighten me, because I don't see the difference.
I played the demo of this, did the first race, crashed when I tried to rear end a civilian car, and said "Fuck it." If I can't use other cars for a Takedown, right from the very beginning, then I don't care, and I loved Burnout 3 and 4.
i do miss checking traffic into other players. Revenge was the ultimate racing brawler.
I agree with this. They've already got selectable start points in multiplayer--it can't be too much of a stretch for them to extend this convenience to single-player.
Interestingly, a few users on NeoGAF said that the PS3 version of the game got a version 1.1 patch earlier today. I wonder what that's about?
Also, I've also got a bad feeling that a lot of the missing features and modes that fans of the earlier games loved (Crash mode, multiplayer Road Rage mode) might be "reintroduced" into Burnout Paradise as downloadable content. If it's free (and comes out relatively soon) then that's cool, but if they start charging money for stuff that should've been in the game to begin with, then it's a sad state of affairs.
it did? lets check....
yup, version 1.10 update, wonder why. One of those promo codes was not working for me earlier, maybe it fixes that?
I noticed that RIGHT away within the first few minutes of playing. Does that feature exist in online races to though?
B-Ri: Truth -- I LOVED checking and hate that it's not in this version. Open-racing will take some getting used to, but I have a feeling that I may grow to hate it.
