I love doing that stunt run at the west-end of the south expressway thing that branches towards the figure 8 track and the dam, because you can get a 10x multiplier easy by jumping the medians in the center of the expressway, drifting/boosting to the quarry and double/triple barrel rolling or 720+ flatspinning in

fucking huge points on that run, my top score is like 1.25 million (and that was just for landing the forementioned 10+ multiplier jump into the quarry)

edit: aces 50/50 jumps, 120/120 billboards and 400/400 fences :cool:

Don't you have to beat all the stunt runs though? I wish that I did those first cause the scores are so much higher with the A license.

It's weird, I just hit Elite and I still don't know what to think about this game. I guess the fact that I finished all of the events means it can't be that bad... Now just a couple of time challenges and about 30 Showtime challenges short of 100% (too bad I can't stand Showtime).

Not having the ability to jump instantly to an event wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I figured it to be game-breaking, it just ended up being mildly annoying at points. The world is small enough and the game is fast enough so that it does not take very long to get across the map, and you have to figure even if it takes you a minute or two to get to the next challenge, you would be spending nearly that much time in menus and loading anyway. -_- (The option should still be there, regardless).

And the stunt runs were my favorite challenges. :| I wish you could go for stunt combos while free roaming.

I'd prefer the ability to jump to events... or at the very least, have a GPS capability built in. Having to toggle the start button every so often to locate specific roads or events is annoying.

I'm done with this game. Having to lose a race then drive all the fucking way back blows. I fucking hate it. I mean I REALLY fucking hate it. Not being able to restart is so goddamn mindnumbing retarded. Theres so much to like about the game but this pisses me off to no extent. So I'm just done with it. Fuck this game and fuck the world!!! :cry:

The lack of a retry is indeed infuriating.
But than i just worked around it.
Only time i ever really wanna retry something is if its a Burning Route. So i goto the Junk Yard closest to the race. Go through it. Pick my car. And go race. If i lose i just reload. Same for when i wanna check out a car i just took down. I drive a little bit than i just reload. And bam i'm in the junkyard with a new car.
It sucks i have to go through this but eh... its no biggie really.

Having to reload a game session would get tedious too. Thanks Criterion for giving us all a headache.
