Test a Redesigned Website

Hey guys, I need your help.

The redesign at my job's website just finished, and we've entered into our testing phase. I'm hoping that if you have some free time, you'll visit and test the site.

Comments on the look and functionality would be appreciated. I'm also looking to see if there are any weird errors or kinks, so if you spot something odd, post it along with the page address and what browser/OS combo you're using.

The only thing that won't work is the search. What it'll do is take you to the search results page of the current College Now website. This was intentional for testing purposes.

The reason I'm posting this on Veteran's Board instead of the Tech Board in Sound Off is because I don't want the test address to be in the complete open.

Looks pretty good in Safari on OSX - the only thing that really jumped out at me is how sometimes the search box is in the blue bar across the top and sometimes it is above it. It makes the page jump around a bit when you're clicking through the site.

I checked it out in both Firefox and IE, and there doesn't seem to be any inconsistencies between browsers. I also went and clicked through most links that I could find and didn't spot any dead ones.

tried it in IE7 rc1. immediately on the main page....hell. i took a screen grab.

I <3 IE and its hating on CSS.

Looks great in OSX FireFox.

Web Design is a kickass field for quick cash. I can't wait to learn the heavy shit in school.

Another all-go for the OSX Safari and Firefox browsers. Couldn't find anything that looked out of place or any dead links.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to bring it up in the next staff meeting to see how we handle IE7. The browser is still in beta, so supporting the browser isn't an immediate concern, considering that our target audience probably won't be out getting IE7 when it first comes out. Nonetheless, that screenshot concerns me. I'm stunned it looks fine in IE6 and not IE7.
