Yes, last I heard there's a PS2 on a chip packed in there. It ups the price a little but saves them the trouble of having to emulate.

If that's the case then there's hope that the console will do 320x240 low resolution for PS1 games. But that kind of resolution gets upscaled on newer flat panel TVs and will look mucky. I reckon that, with modern TVs in mind, they'll have the PS1 games upscaled inside the PS3.
TiVO is just a DVR from a particular company with some extra features. It's $13/month. They used to have a lifetime fee option instead, where you paid like $300 and you'd never have to pay them again, but they got rid of that since they make a killer with montly fees now that they know they aren't going anywhere. I personally don't see this happening for the 360, esp. when Microsoft has Windows Media Center. If anything, they'd just make a 360 version of that software. Even that I don't see happening though, I'm sure they'd rather you get a PC and network it.
BTW, TiVo is overpriced, IMO.
Blu-Ray supports 720p just like how regular DVDs support 480i even though they are made in 480p. It won't look as good in 720p as it would in 1080p, but it'll still work. Right now it doesn't matter though since nothing really look that good in 1080p right now anyway.
The flying around looks okay, but compare it to the early pictures Andy posted maybe... six months ago. Not even close. Incog's a good developer, though, and games like this are always welcome. I hope they can pull it together (and cut the on-foot shit), for the sake of PS3 owners and Warhawk 1 fans.
Warhawk 1 was pretty mind-blowing back in the day. Well, except for the live-action FMV cinemas, which were pretty funny (yet painful) in their extreme cheesiness.
The maincharacter of Warhawk's face is painful to look at.
