I predict the PS3 will end up just like the PS2 did; With people shooting each other to get the limited # of consoles at launch, a dirth of must have launch games, and a great library of games in a year.
Eh. Big release PS2 games go for 8800 in Japan. 9800 is about a 1000 yen price raise over BIG release prices, pretty similar to 360 to Xbox price raise. The 6800 to 8800 leap is unbelievable until i see it. Even so, i haven't read anything specifying it'd be the same price structure for US games. If it does hold true, we'd be looking at $70 games. ): SNES/N64 days, boo.
If that $70 price structure for games holds true.. Yikes! Sony's sticker shock will make it the sole domain of deep pocketed gamers and collectors.
You gotta think that every developer planning a PS3 exclusive is currently working on a 360 port.
