Argentina is 50/50 for me at the moment, some are awesome, some suck. This item is sold out. I will go down to my local wine Guru and see if he can get me a bottle.
malbec only. The blush sux.
sure, probably will get some in a week or 2.
oooh nice. I'm always hesitant with really pricey wine, i've been burned in the past. Worst was a tuscan red of some sort that had tobacco flavours in it (wtf).Quote:
As far as the WB "Platinum/Presidential" selection I bought one. I think the gold label is better. Solid.
tobacco flavors, cigar smoke...I had this dilemma recently with a bottle of Tormaresca "Bocca Di Lupo"(the fox in the hole). I don't want to drink a cigar.
seriously wtf.
Absolut Vanilla and coke ftw.
Absolut Vanilla is the worst alcohol I've ever forced down my throat. The shitty, charcoal filtered vodka you can get for $6/gallon is better than that horrid concoction.
The package store was closed when I got to it. Sad, because I wanted to get either some Bombay Sapphire (which I've never had, but the talk within the thread has piqued my curiosity), or some Disorrono (sp, and I think it taste good, something I'd sip and enjoy).
And unfortunately, there isn't really anywhere that has a great beer selection in Statesboro, so I bought some Tecate, Heineken, and some stuff called Grolsch. I've never had Tecate or Grolsch, and last time I had Heineken was, like, a half a sip of it almost five years ago.
The Heineken is okay, I guess. I usually drink the beers I mentioned, so this is a bit lighter and crisper, but doesn't come off as rice water. Still, it's not something I'll buy again on purpose. Not bad, and if my choices at a party were this, Coors Light, and Budweiser, I'd definitely take this, but that's about the extent of it.
I'm a beer n00b. Eh. Bottoms up.
