Official PlayStation Mobile Thread

Having been a former retail monkey, I understand that issue all too well.

At long last, PlayStation Mobile is now live on Vita. This thread should probably renamed to "Official PlayStation Mobile Thread".

They took the controls away?! WTF. That was the ultimate reason to get an Xperia. Every phone should have a dpad and a few buttons. Looks like the people have spoken at retail and we are going back to no phones with a dpad and buttons.

I'm sure within a year dealextreme will be selling phones that look like a PSVita. They already have ones that look like watches and hello kitty.

PlayStation Mobile (thread still needs a rename) is getting the most important feature of all: trophies!

Samurai Beatdown is free this week from PlayStation Mobile (accessible on Vita and various other devices). Apparently there will be a new freebie each week for six weeks.

I was really hoping that this bump was because Sony announced an Xperia Play 2 and that it was good this time.

I'm really hoping that happens in the next six months or so. I'll be at upgrade time later this year and would be really annoyed if I lock in again, and it gets announced two months later.

Chaos Rings is now available on PlayStation Mobile. It's $7.99, as compared to $8.99 on iPhone and $11.99 on iPad. I'm curious as to what kind of resolutions it supports, as there are several PSM certified devices, obviously including the Vita.
