1. It's very likely the exact same d-pad as the PSPgo, since it also has the exact same shoulder buttons and volume rocker.
2. It's definitely not just like the iPhone/Droid/Blackberry, because it plays PlayStation games in some capacity, which none of those do.
3. It's rumored to be unveiled this month, so it's hardly too early to care. It may in the wild as early as February.
Well when it's good I'll get excited. If it's really good I'll get it, since I need a new phone.
Right now I'm cautiously optimistic at best, the Sony handhelds have not been a success in my eyes. The only good part about the PSPgo was when I got to make fun of a friend for buying it and then not being able to play any of his old games and not even getting support for some new games he wanted.
When there's a software library of games worth playing it will be time to care. Not before.Quote:

The PSP has exactly one weakness: Only one analog. Theoretically this fixes that. Obviously the game support will be what makes or breaks it. Its worst case is that it's the best Android phone for gaming though. Here's hoping Cave and Epic get on Android quickly.
