TNL Wiki Project - Start Here
It's time to organize this huge hilarious mess into something we can pass on in capsule form to the newbs, and the newbs after them, and the newbs after them, etc.
Here's my take on what would be desirable in a TNL Wiki. Post your comments and suggestions below.
1. Profiles of all staff and users of note, whether or not they still post here
---a. Aliases
---b. Avatars, signatures, and custom statuses used, past and present - especially avatars
---c. Best posts or exchanges, including a gallery of any attachments the user's contributed (digitally altered images, etc.)
---d. Comments from other users
---e. Personal information and memories of interest, including how the person discovered the site
---f. Pictures
-----i. The person himself
-----ii. His gaming setup
2. Catchphrases, acronyms, and other insider terminology
3. Topic Hall of Fame
---a. Most momentous threads
---b. Funniest threads
---c. Most informative threads
4. Section on TNL Chat
5. Possibly a section on get-togethers if there are any good pictures out there
Your memory and the board's search feature are your best friends here. The following threads can be used as a starting place:
TNL encyclopedia of our past gimmicks/catchphrases
TNL Sig & Av Graveyard (Also illustrates the benefit of using attachments instead of links.)
Teach the newbies our rich, nerdy history.
Feuds and stupidity (If the link doesn't work for you, just ignore it and wait for the Wiki to see what you missed.)
