I joined the largest "protest group" which recruited about 745,000 people in a few days. Pretty impressive, if you know anything about facebook.
It's really not a big deal at all. It's just that the people that go to the site all the time to click on everyone's profiles are now suddenly bored because they can go through all the trouble of seeing what's changed in less than 10 seconds.
