Time to start developing an online portfolio for class. My webdesign professor reccomends grabbing webspace and a URL similar to my name through 1and1, but I'd like to know what TNL's multitude of site owners think of that.
Is this company reputable? Are there any better?
I've used godaddy, myhosting and vizaweb without problems.

Got 2 accounts with them, and i swear by them. Cheap as shit, reliable, and awesome customer service and care. I've had 1 problem ever (which was on my side), and they respnded to my email within the hour with the solution. They recently sent me a thank you card for being a customer which came with a ton of vouchers, and the card was personally signed by the staff. Its the 2nd one they've sent me. Utterly fantastic company.
I have 1and1. I really cant complain. There were some quirks getting things up and running but they were resolved quickly. I think they have 10% off now so thats good.
