I've pulled for the Tigers a bit this year and I'd say if they can beat the Yanks the A's arn't going to have an easy series. They do have a decent team though and I wouldn't mind seeing them in the WS.

edit: I really did think the Yanks were gonna pound 'em tonight. like 10-2 or something.
