That devs rangers game was great. We were really dominated in the second and managed to scrape out the win in the third. Brodeur was terrific, we got some lucky breaks for real. I can't wait to see what goes down on thursday.
I miss patty and gio. Honestly though, patty's not my favourite player (Gio has been since he started on the team, since I am also vertically challenged, and watching him turn into what he is currently has been awesome) but players like Langs, Pando, Brylin....love those guys. I'm really impressed with Oduya, I remember at the home opener being like, "Who?" Martin just keeps getting better. I'm finally starting to regain confidence in the defensive squad. White is still hamfisted with the puck. Also Parise, who I was on the fence about for a while becuase while promising he still seemed to be offensively...unable to finish (like a lot of other devils players throughout the franchise history) is just improving faster than I would believe, as is Zajac.
Prucha is still one of my favourite players to watch. I wish Janssen fought Avery.
The pens have no chance to go deep. The Devils do only because so many of the eastern conference teams fell apart this year. I think (again) that it's the Sabres' year.
