While I am spamming the thread, the only game that mattered yesterday was very well played on both sides.
The Devils had to play with 16 skaters again, because, in addition to Gionta and White still being out, Rasmussen took a puck in the face early on. They'll really be dangerous when they get healthy.
The Sabres are head and shoulders above every other Eastern conference opponent I have watched. I can't comment on the west as well, as I happened to be out of town when teh Devils made that trip, plus they don't play them all anyway.
I'll make this statement now and stick to it in June. If the Sabres or Devils are not representing the east in the Finals, it will be done in 6 or less, and the west will win.
edit: I just looked ahead and saw that Buffalo and Pittsburgh play on Tuesday. I can't decide who to root for in that one, but I don't want to see OT and damned third point handed out.
