I'm curious, how you enjoy music on the road?
This is how I do;

It works perfectly for my needs. It even hides under the center console, invisible from the outside.

Plays Mp3 CDRs, and supports this:

XM Radio Tuner. Its really nice to have it intergrated into the head unit. I have no AM/FM presets set at all. I think i have used the Terrestial Tuner twice since I got this head unit.

All in my '99 Dakota. It sounds pretty damn good, nicely balanced and clean, good soundstage, and plays loud enough to make me happy, and no interior rattles.
Stock radio/Cd player, I might replace the front speakers, but I doubt it since I drive less than 5k miles a year.
Got one of these old beasts:

Neo Car Jukebox MP3 player...has a standard IDE hard drive in it that is easily upgradable...haven't bothered to replace the 20 gig drive that came with it yet, though.

Xact Visor Sirius Radio - got it for Xmas last year from my dad. Works well and is not obnoxious looking like some of the Sirius equipment. I would like some of the replay features that the newer models have. Someday I'll upgrade I'm sure but it works for now.
All wired up to my stock Scion xB headunit with one of these:

Down with FM modulation.
I have a Pioneer head unit similar to Wildkats'. Also have a direct connection to an XM Tuner coupled with a 12 disc Pioneer cd changer (which, in hindsight, wish I never bought because I don't use it much since I got XM and the fucking thing broke on me, it skips like the cds are scratched to hell and back).
Lastly I have a Bazooka amp driving an 8" Bazooka tube. Cheap but delivers a bad ass thump, just what I wanted.
Ipod with an FM transmitter. Fuck anything else. I'm driving.

ipod and sirius are hardwired, so no having to change fm station when in a bad area.
I should NEVER run out of things to listen to and if that fails, I have a PS2 + PSOne monitors in my car :sweat:
