yeah, like right after I made it. Why?
Cow is burgundy's lost twin brother.
srsly.
So what is this job? I can't really be happy for you if it sucks.
Awesome news Cowutopia. Glad to hear everything is coming up roses for you.
I started a new graphic design job about a month ago. I'm making just under 40k a year now and loving it. It's the third highest starting salary out of anyone in my graduating class. I have to commute across Toronto every day but I don't care (about an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic). I also just sold my old domain name (wrestlinggames.com) for 12500 US dollars to some spaniard. In a year I should be 40,000 richer.
I might lease a house and rent it out or something.
EVERYTHING IS SO WONDERFUL!
Working at distributorship. Specifically, I'll be working with Sykorsky to help them get the shit they need to build their helicopters, and they already told me that I'll have to go on business trips to and from their headquarters, which fucking rocks.
The job itself sounds really hectic and fun. On the phone a lot but not sales calls or marketing or shit like that, just working closely with the manufacturers and Sykorsky.
It's not THE GREATEST JOB IN THE WORLD or anything but I'll always be busy, the "Shark Pit" is exciting, stressful, and probably challenging, they are looking to hire people in the long term so I won't be chucked out the window in a few months, and I get to go to Sykorsky and look at helicopters.
Another awesome thing is the "commute" is literally a 2-minute drive or a bike ride.
lies. you're working in a cotc factory.
Aurora's right. My bonuses are paid in melted butter.
