I got a job and I'm really excited

No. It was a job at IGN that Mark Ryan posted about here on the forums. Just found out I didn't get it, though :( It's all good, though. I got to go out to San Fran and see the IGN office and meet Tal and Mark Ryan, and they're throwing me some freelance work as a consolation prize.

There's always next time I suppose.

Another awesome thing is the "commute" is literally a 2-minute drive or a bike ride.

Cow, I'm in a situation much like yours. Very recently interviewed for a job that will earn ~35k, it's a good feeling, especially if you were completely broke beforehand, like me. Congrats to us!
