I'm in almost the exact same boat. I recently started working my first real job though it's only two days a week, and they loved my interview so much they're probably going to give me an additional three days a week acting as an on-site representative for new company clients and bump me up to salary (I would be already but they've had issues in the past with people staying past a couple months so they're waiting to see how I react).

Right now I'm keeping my retail job for the discounts and to supplement my income until the extra hours happen (even then I'll probably keep at both for a while just for extra money). This should've happened years ago but I was really fucking lazy for a long time, and damn if that hasn't hurt me in the long run. It'll be really, really nice to finally start ending my financial issues and begin saving for the future. It also doesn't hurt that my job is fucking awesome, it's not my dream or anything but it's still wonderful for so many reasons.
