i do that alot, i hate it, it's like a habit now, sometimes i can control it and sometimes(mainly when stressed) i cannot! :(

You guys gave him bad advice 4 years ago, canker sores can be cause by herpes; and with large sudden breakouts it is usually the case. The difference is that canker sores start as ulcers and die as ulcers, herpes ulcers start as a small group of little blisters that turn into a vesicle then turn into an ulcer. Also, canker sores caused by herpes will exclusively be on your gums or top of your mouth, while normal canker sores will be in the soft tissues of your mouth.

Someone's been doing research for whatever reason.
