Wish me luck..

As some or most know, I interned at MAD Magazine back in mid July-end of August. Well, while I was browsing for jobs on monster, craigslist.org and hotjobs, I stumbled across a DC Comics listing. They were looking for a graphic designer (right up my alley). But instead of working for MAD Magazine or on comics, they're looking for someone to do ads, catalogues, design packaging for toys and what nots (DC Direct). So I'm stopping by tomorrow to fill out applications (again) and dropping off my portfolio.

It's really weird how we bicker and belittle each other so much, and yet in reality the board has mostly talented people on it.

Thanks guys. I just finished a 46 page program for La Kalle Block Party Concert 2006 (Reggaeton concert) that just happened on the 23rd at Madison Square Garden. I have to go pick up some programs for my own personal keep sake and for my portfolio, hopefully it would bring lots of attention to DC.

BTW, regarding the concert, me and my girl was the only asians there. We thought we were going to stick out like sore thumbs but we like blended in. I bet there were some that just looked at us and said "wtf? asians at a reggaeton concert?". O wells, they were free tickets provided by the radio station.

heh, you know who I'm talking about.

We have a few mathematicians
A few college level teachers.
Some high level programmers and engineers.
Some skilled artist (that actually have jobs in the industry.)
A few lawyers.
One or two long time magazine writers.
A handful of musicians (all of which currently have cool jobs. Except for hub. His job is not cool :( )
And a couple of us are working on getting a masters or a phd

I love how you included yourself in that.
