If I REALLY had too, like Haoh does. I would pick the Honda CR-V. The 2006/2007 really is the nicest of the bunch.

But for that amount why not the VW Toureg? Or like everyone is saying the Mazda CX9

Haoh, just remember don't drive the SUV like a car. Its really a truck. Drive it as such.

Touregs are no good. It's one of the most unreliable cars on the road, expensive, and has no resale because everyone knows how unreliable it is.

I have an Avalanche now and it's the biggest piece of shit new car I've ever owned. Any of the above recommendations would drive like a car compared to what I'm driving now.

You could <snicker> get the <giggle> Subaru B9 <laugh> Tribeca.

That is, if you blind in both eyes and cant feel how ugly it is.

If you just looking for city driving, seconding the Cherokee SRT8. Not becuase I am a Mopar fanboy, but its simply the best Truksuvee on the planet.

If you want something with decent fuel economy, The CX9 is a pretty good Carsuvee.

If you want to tow, get a 4dr pickup.
