Report: Wii Pre-Orders this Friday

Following the announcement and subsequent sell-out of PS3 pre-orders, are Wii pre-orders coming later this week? One report says yes, but GameStop has made no official announcement just yet.

They're just going to announce it quietly on the night before like they did with PS3.

Friday's payday, so this oughta work just fine. I'd rather it were Saturday, though.

I found out a Nintendo presentation at work today that Toys R Us will start their Wii presells pretty soon and is expected to get more units than any other retailer.

Please let us know when they start. If I do decide to get a Wii, it won't be from EB/GS.

I'm with you there. I'm so fucking sick of EB/GS that I don't ever want to get there again.

Thats why I mentioned it. I know I'm sick to death of EBs. It should be starting by the end of the month I guess. I'll let ya know.

I just got word of Wii pre orders being on Friday, but I still won't believe it until I see an e-mail with how many we're going to be getting.
