No, because the guy had the choice to learn to fly a plane, he wanted to do it, and he died doing it. That's it. it was an accident - probably a freak accident. People die from accidents every day. That doesn't mean they shouldn't have the ability to do what they want to do, and thank God icarusfall isn't the decider on that.

Why, because he's a Major League pitcher he should no longer be able to have any hobbies? You know how many people die in plane crashes everyday? Do you know how many people die in car crashes? Maybe he shouldn't have driven a car either.

I'm not gonna look this up, but my guess is as a ratio more people die flying single engine propeller planes than die driving cars. They're so inherently dangerous that aviation manufactures stopped producing them in the mid 80s because of the insurance premiums until new legislation was introduced in 1995 to limit liability. I don't think this was ever a problem with cars.
