I at least got to see them live in small bar shows three times, so I'm happy with that. Them getting back together would be awesome though.
I saw them once at a nice small venue but it was before i was into them. Fucking awesome live show still.
I saw Blood Brothers open for Cursive in... 2003 or 4. It was pretty cool, I liked them at the time, but I don't think I would be too into Burn Piano Island Burn these days. Too shouty.
I still listen to Piano Island and Young Machetes.
I'm pretty excited about this Animal Collective show tomorrow. I haven't been to one in forever.
It looks like I'll be going to All Points West this summer.
This summer is going to fucking on for shows.
I've already went and saw The Tragically Hip (last night), and Grady (early May). I'll be seeing Stone Temple Pilots in July, and Eagles of Death Metal August 2nd. And then at the end of the month Pearl Jam is coming to down on August 21st.
Gomez is coming to town May 29th, but I'll be in Montreal for my birthday so I won't get to see them. Whenever they come to town I'm always out of town or doing something I can't cancel. It's like that with certain bands for me. Regardless of when they come I can't go and see them. Same with a Canadian band called The Trews. And oddly enough they're also playing a smaller venue really close to my place on May 29th, too. Double fucked!

It is going to RULE. The three other bands are fantastic but Neon Nights is just above and beyond.
And then tomorrow it's High Class Wreckage and Waterbeds at Full Tilt Ice Cream. Which is a pinball arcade, beer bar and vegan ice cream dispensary. It's in White Center which is probably Seattle's most lowbrow neighborhood at this point. I can't fucking wait!!!
