New 2d Celshaded Mario!!!

You can hear Matt going "Woohoo" at the end of it and they put EXACTLY the same "Woohoo" on the Mario video just before he jumped. It seems they just used the background sounds from that old Zelda video!

It's clearly got exactly the same applause as well (Just after Matts woohoo). Download it and compare them. "

well, he seems to be right from what i can hear. anyways, that was lame. who ever made that is pretty fuckin talented though.

That looks really interesting, yet really bizarre at the same time :p I don't know if I'm going to like seeing Mario in Bizarro-like visual style, if that indeed is what it looks like. Then again, it is Mario, so I'm sure it'll be good either way. I don't know why it would take this long to show up though, and I don't know how they could pull of the 'big E3 backscreen' look if it were fake, let alone anyone be able to MAKE that unless they were a programmer.

Good. 3D is Mario's home now anyways.

That "woohoo" sounds to me like Mario's "Woohoo" in Mario 64 after he jumps twice in a row. In this video, he didn't jump twice.. more reason it's a fake. But Lucas (I'm chating with him now), thinks it's Matt Woohooing, which it could be.

It's sound a little corny for a new mario game.

Anyone else notice that mario was running like sonic in that video, with his arms back and all.

Now that I hear both videos again, I'm stumpt, Matts "woohoo" DID sound like the "WooHoo" in the Mario video. But it ASLO sounds like Mario too... Don't know man, Lucas may be on to somthin. I'm on the fence.

AND, you here applause at that stage too... they COULD be applauding to see Mario, but it sounds a LOT like the Zelda video

well, thing is, it doesn't sound like Charles Martinet at all. and also, when Matt says Woohoo and you think it's Mario, Mario has no reason to say woohoo.

honestly, i think you should get over it. i'd loooove to be wrong, but i don't think that's the case this time around.
