I thought the title itself was odd, "Super Mario's Universe." Notice the apostrophe. Seeing as how it was Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, I doubt it would be Super Mario's Universe.

That video was truly frightening.
It's fake. The whole style of the "intro" is completely unlike any of Nintendo's stuff, and the design of the princess if completely off.
Plus, the rotating Mario head as the "lives" icon is too tacky for any sort of Miyamoto game.
All it is is a clever render by some college student or 3D professional with too much time on his hands. Did you even wonder why it's so short?
"Get over it"
I didn't say I didn't think it's a fake. I do think it's a fake, but I do think it looks cool, and would be happy if it wasn't.
Like the Megaman X7 trailer?Quote:

the trailer that was playing at E3 (also the one i have on my E3 Tape) is pretty long. about as long as your standard minute or so long game trailer.Quote:

So why does it only say "Game Boy" at the beginning? Where's the "Advance" or "Gamecube" logo?
Definite fake to me.
I think I won't be stopping by Nintendojo for my news quite as often.Quote:
A new Super Mario game for the GBA? It appears so, and it's "cel shaded," or seems to be in a "cel-shaded" or "Paper Mario-esque" style. We're not sure of what to think of it, but what we do know for sure is that it seems legit, as our sources have told us to expect more videos on the way.
We are not concrete on the legitimacy of this video, however, we feel that this is something real and an actual title. We're looking into it.
Really? I wish someone would have placed it somewhere on the net to watch. The only I could find had a link posted here, and was about 30 seconds, if I remember right.Quote:

The drawings, Mario's sprite, all have a westernized drawing style to them. Unless Nintendo handed over their Mario franchise to Retro Studios, some guy (or girl) who thought he/she could draw Mario and Peach made this. Definite fake. And the background sounds (the japanese voices) seem to be put in there deliberately to make it seem more authentic. Where the heck would this have been shown anyway? The last Japanese show was the Spring TGS right?
