At least now I'll be playing it a shitload (SMS, Metroid, Zelda, Star fox) but it sure took its sweet damn time.
The "damn the consequences" part was about spending a shitload of money on the same day - and my budget is kinda tight these days :D hehe
The design of the xbox isnt exactly the best, compared to my dreamcast. I dont like the green circle with the xbox logo on the top, it looks kinda lame actually, and another thing - I'm not sure about the fluo green color of the dvd cases, but oh well :D
I've been playing sine i was 5, and damn, last night was the first time that I felt that i was cheating on a console, while playing my xbox, hahaha :eek:

Tomorrow, I'll be playing "New System Smell", "Take Up Room on My Floor", "Pretend that I'm playing something", and maybe a demo.
In other words, I'll be getting an Xbox tomorrow. Sadly, I won't be able to get a game for a few weeks.
Lots of people here are getting Xboxes lately.
I wonder if the new low price is a reason :)
Smart move! Looks like everyone pretty much stole my thunder. But, what the hell, I'll offer this:
1. XBox pretty much kicks complete ass, with a whole lot more ass kicking coming up in the next six months. This takes nothing away from the other consoles -- in fact it has nothing to do with others at all. Rather it means only this: once you buy the Box, it's pretty hard not to have a great time with it.
2. I'll back up Mr. Kasual 100% on Wreckless. Some of the complaints you may have read are legitimate (although many really are not). Regardless, this game looks SO much better than virtually ANYTHING else out there, and despite what you may have heard, the physics engine is fantastic IMO (this is ARCADE style, not sim!). I beat it thoroughly, and then dusted it off about 3 months later. Guess what? IT'S STILL FUN (in fact, maybe even more fun than when I first bought it, since I knew what I was doing). Do yourself a favor and at least give it a rent.
If I had the extra money, I would pick one up with Halo and DOA3. Plus I would probably have to start lifting weights to get that big ass thing home:lol:.

I too give wreckless my seal of approval. A great game to play through with exciting arcade action and a good 6 hours of play time.
What didn't I like about it? The character models and their animation. The rest of the game looks SOOOOOO good, the cut scenes with the characters are absolute pain. You'll see what I mean...
