Some could see this coming, but I'm rather surprised at the outcome. While Tyson has'nt really had a tough fight, since Holyfield, I figured Lewis's chin would be the deciding factor. Does anyone think that Tyson could have beat Lewis, if they had met before Tyson went to prison?

DID ANYONE CATCH THE AFTER FIGHT COMMENTARY. I SWEAR, MIKE TYSON STROKED LEWIS' FACE LIKE A LITTLE FAG, IT WAS MORE DISTURBING THAN HIS BATTERED FACE.
keep in mind this is right after he asked for a rematch and told Lewis "i think i can beat you in a rematch"
an odd fellow indeed, that tyson.
awesome fight though, i was 45 seconds away from winning the 60 dollar party money we pooled, i picked round 9.
by the way Lewis did not break a sweat during the whole fight. Tyson's career is over....

Wow, glad my cousin's weren't able to get that PPV ordered, would've been a waste of money. I thought at least 'ol Iron Mike would make it competetive. No such luck. The statistics they had up on him on ESPNews were pathetic....almost no offense at all.

I won $80 bucks on Lewis. I kinda thought Lewis' reach was overrated but I just absolutely hate Mike Tyson.
Pretty good fight. Lewis just jabbed him to death. Couldn't believe Tyson didn't go inside and when he did land a couple of punches he didn't follow up with another punch, The times he hit Lewis, Tyson seemed to be in shock that he actually landed a punch. I was impressed with the way Tyson withstood the jab-a-thon Lewis displayed though.
Maybe if Lewis hadn't kept on holding Tyson throughout the fight the outcome would have been different..but thats a reach.

It does'nt surprise me, that Lewis held onto Tyson a lot. This same tactic worked for Holyfield. Did'nt Emmanual Stewart train Holyfield for his fight with Tyson? Emmanual is one of the greatest trainers in the sport of boxing. If anything though, Lewis will finally get the much deserved respect, he earned.
