Saw 3 official

okay after the shitstorm that was the 2nd movie, i really didnt have high hopes for this one. let me just say it now......if you liked the first but hated the 2nd, you should definately enjoy this one. without giving too much away until people see it, it's more psychological like the first. more of a thinking movie. there's a well laid out REASON for most everytihng. the 2nd seemed like a mismash to just kill people with "clever" traps, which none of them seemed to work for me. it was really people just killing each other instead of the clever traps hinted at in the first. let me just say there were a fair share of squirm moments with this set. they usually end up showing EVERYTHING. so, go see it. i wasn't disappointed at all.

Second let me down to much. They don't deserve my money in the theater.

I'll watch it when my girlfriends parents buy the DVD.

i was totally let down by the second as well but scounts honor this one more than makes up for it. i don't know if the original guys that wrote and direted the original were back in full capacity but this one really feels like a sequel, where the 2nd seemed like a cheap cash run every minute of it.

it ties up everything back story wise. one question tho that i wondered if you guys know off hand. did the doctor die in the first one or did he escape? i couldn't remember and he's the only thing not explained. my buddy said he got away but i don't remember.

His name is Jigsaw.

Also, based on what the second movie taught us, we know that when he crawled out of that room without his foot he ended up in the house not outside. I doubt he managed to find his way out of that place before losing all that blood killed him.

Good points, I see the logic there.

Somebody remind me how 2 ended, I really can't remember how Jigsaw got away.

It was meh. A little too complicated and random, but whatever.

The entire Jigsaw operation scene was beyond sick.

Saw > Saw 3 > Saw 2
