That's entirely possible. I can't help but wonder though if there's some sort of added incentive as a hardware manufacturer to deliver quality software. It seems like third parties in general are usually more content to rush games out the door than first parties.
I agree with the popular opinion that Sonic Team was always overrated, but they've been Acclaim-level awful the last few years and that's kind of mind-boggling.
The steady decline of Sonic from the first game to whatever trash they're releasing now is really scary. SA2 was so buggy and worthless it might as well have been made by Traveller's Tales.
This is so true. Sega's sucking has nothing to do with its decision to leave the hardware business. I'd say it has more to do with all the restructuring of its teams and allowing many of its best designers and programmers to leave.
Nintendo's been on a slow decline too. Even EAD, while great, isn't in the same league as it used to be. It's just the nature of the industry; people move on or retire.
There definitely is. When you manufacture hardware, you HAVE to make good games, as you only have one platform to rely on for sales. 3rd parties can always port a game or save their best material for the #1 console (like Konami always does).Quote:

The first 3/4's of the video is just nonsense (loading discs backwards into the Wii, etc), but at the end they put a wiimote under a sink faucet, throw it hard into a wall (twice), then jump up and down on it. It still works fine. 1up can't do anything right.
And you needed to tell us this in a new thread instead of the Official Wii thread because...
So where is the best place to find a Wii these days. I have a feeling my wife is going to hook me up for Xmas and I want to drop hints.
At this point, aside from camping out somewhere, order from a reputable online store that is optimistic about pre-Christmas delivery.
