White DVD cases:

Aren't the internets wonderful?
But are they the same bright white as Wii cases?
Now that you mention it..FUCK YEA!
BAM!! There you go. I made me $100 (of course no watermark on original)

Jeesh guys, just wait until Nintendo releases a core system and starts selling Wii Sports separately for $50. Trade in the pack-in version for $4 credit at EB/GS and you're all set.
I've been requesting off next Monday off so I can play the Wii for months now, and my managers at EB keep saying they took my name off the schedule for that day, yet I called this morning and asked about my schedule and I'm still down for Monday.
LOL I fucking quit. I'm gonna play my Wii.
LOL, if you quit your job so you can play the Wii for one extra day, you are a retard. I'd say that about any system, but ESPECIALLY this one.
Hey, you never know. You did start working there in the first place (not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just saying it probably appealed to you on some level)
Yeah, I guess. I only mentioned it in this thread for humor purposes -- didn't want to turn it into the Giltch Gets Disgruntled and Quits EB thread.
I've seen Rayman, Red Steel, Tony Hawk, and Monkey Ball.
I haven't seen Zelda anywhere. Getting scared.
I've also ran into controllers (even the regular one) and I'm amazed how small everything is.
I could have sworn you just posted that 10 minutes ago.
He did. I saw it too.
Yeah in the Zelda thread, I had two tabs open and thought I was posting here.
Compared to other launch and freebie gaming stuff that's come in sleeves, the Wii Sports cover is pretty good. VF's was pretty basic, as was Remix's. I usually put sleeve games in front of the DVD-cased ones - then I know where it is and it won't get lost in a bin full of games.
If you work, or have a friend that works at EB Games, or Gamestop, just see if you can get one from them. We got a whole box full of the white DVD cases, so I'm going to see if I can get one for Wii Sports.
This douche got his Wii already

BTW, He was the Miami Nintendo Wii Ambassador
So, this is the supposed rundown for where I'm probably gonna be at, all of these stores are less than 5 minutes away from eachother.
Target 120 (Confirmed)
Toys R Us 84 (Same Shopping Center)
Best Buy 53
Wal Mart 53 (Across the street)
And a Comp USA.

What a barrel of gay. No online shit besides Virtual Console at launch.
Oh noes, wherever will you get your up to the minute weather now?
Honestly, though, I know it's kinda lame, but it's not that surprising considering there won't be only online Wii games until January or so, and we were told that months ago.
The weather's always sunnier when it comes from my Wii. :(
Walmart had their wiimotes out on the shelf tonight. I tried to buy one but they wouldnt sell it to me. Oh wellz. It's tiny and the buttons are identical to the DSlite.
What launch games are TNL'ers picking up with their Wii's?
For me it's:
Zelda TP
Maybe Red Steel
I'll jump on Excite Truck when the price drops to $30, same with Rayman.
Buy Wii because dog$ hates it, or don't buy Wii because Spodaddy likes it. Shit, tough. Maybe i'll buy it and then sell it.
But first, Zelda and Trauma Center. Everyone says Rayman is awesome, but i just can't imagine it. Had to cancel Metal Slug because i'm moving at the end of the month, but i'll get it eventually.
I'm kind of tempted by Excite Truck eventually, because I like big stupid racers. If we ever get a demo unit in this state I'll find out first-hand if I care.
James
I already bought Rayman and I'm picking up Zelda at launch. I'm gonna try to rent Red Steel and Excite Truck as soon as I can.
I'll get Zelda, maybe Monkey Ball.
Zelda and Trauma Center!!
Red Steel is going to be crap, we all know it.
It keeps going back and forth, I don't know what to think anymore. One place says awesome, one place says crap, one says awesome, one says crap, and so on and so forth.
I'm surprised that more people are willing to try unknown successes/failures like Red Steel and Rayman over the new Monkey Ball game, which according to all of the reviews thus far, seems to represent a return to the series' past level of excellence.
When I think Super Monkey Ball, I think anus.com
for now it's just Zelda for me, in a few months I'll be grabbing Red Steel, trauma center and MSA.
The Rayman game seems to be a worthy purchase at launch, imo.
A collection of minigames? Hell no.
If people are going to buy Wario Ware for the Wii, then why not Rayman?
If there's one thing the Wii should excel at, its party games.
I wouldn't pay anywhere near $50 for WarioWare either, so your point may be valid.
Super Monkey Ball FTW imo.
As soon as I hear that music and voice over I get giddy.

Zelda review
It must be easy as hell is Jeremy Parrish liked it.
Let it go Yoshi. Just let it go.
Updated my image of the cover.
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3..._watermark.jpg
Removed the Mii character and added Ninty logo on spine. Also fixed the text to make it more clearer as well as the red boxes in the IMPORTANT and WARNING. Just waiting for the gf to bring back the printed versions before i post it.
Not to mention, it will be PDF file (less than 1MB), 200 dpi and will have crop marks to let you know where to cut (you'll need to draw lines..in pencil so you can follow it)
So, I assume the Wii is still on track to have millions on shelves between launch and year's end? Any news on missed production quantities?
The 'net is so full of PS3 news these days...
The only news is that nerds are making $1000s from standing on line. Story over.
WTF? People already on line for the Wii. I called the Walmart in Westbury LI to find out what time they open (thinking of swinging by to get accessories if they have) and the person said that there are people on line already!
FUCK!!!! GS only have wiimotes for reserves. Come on Johnpv!

Fuck. I was gonna go one hour before opening on Sunday, no more.
I "camped out" for ten hours (12AM-10AM) in front of TRU last Sunday to secure my Wii and a copy of Zelda. I was planning on just showing up a few hours or so before they opened, but I drove by at around 11PM Saturday night and saw that there were already a few people out there. Knowing they only had 20 pre-orders, it was before midnight and heads were already in attendance, I said fuck it lets get this over with, called my friend and we did the damn thing. 30 something people showed up before 7AM.
Now all I need are some fairly decent third party component cables...
Fuck it, if I can't get a spot by midnight tomorrow I'm not getting it at launch.
Since my sister is at school upstate, I'm having her check out stores near her. Walmart wont put them out until Saturday. Shes checking Best Buy and other GameStop/EB.
Some states have the accessories for sale already.
You guys must think I'm an ass for this but below is the final look of the cover insert.

I just got my first paycheck from my new job, and I'm really fucking tempted to buy a Wii. New console fever is getting to me just like it did last year with 360, which I ended up with.
Bandit, awesome cover man. I approve!
Fight it.
Do you ever get the urge to put down 250 dollars on a Power Wheels? Same thing here.
I know I should, but it's just so hard. New Super Monkey Ball and Zelda are just too fucking tempting. Tomorrow at midnight I may run to Walmart when I'm still drunk from watching the OSU game, and if they gots, chances are I'll get it, and if they don't, then I'll spend the money on a shit ton more booze.
Ditto. That is an awesome cover.
Cover looks nice Bandit. Black DVD case though ;)
I <3 Jason Biggs
so some dudes go to buy a ps3 at a Sears...only to be turned down and offered a Wii instead...so they buy the Wii.

i really hate when people call Nintendo "ninty". it's so gay.
Here it is. The moment you guys have been waiting for..
I'm giving you guys first dibs on it!
Let me know what yout think. Its best if you print on legal sized paper (8.5x14). If you print on normal 8.5x11, it might get cut off a little? I dont know for sure since I had the gf print from her job on legal paper.
The actual art is about 10.75x7.25. So with normal paper, it might get cut off a little.

For those who work at EB/GS. Is it true that these shirts are for those who preordered the Wii?
"me no bastaad, me bwuce wii!"
That almost looks like Reggie.
I like the art Bandit. Very nice.
What's the big deal with the Wii Sports insert?
I stopped by the local Walmart to check on the status of Wii-age. They have tons of accessories there, already out on the shelf, but but they said they only got 20 systems. TWENTY! I'm gonna stop there around six or so tomorrow to make sure there isn't some huge line for it like the PS3. If there is, then fuck it, I'll get one on the next shipment, I'm not waiting more than a few hours. I figure I can last about as long as the batteries in my DS and TurboExpress combined.
Bandit, your cover is awesome, big thanks. I'm not sure where you got your artwork from, but it looks much better than what I was putting together.
Hopefully I can find wii remote and nunchuk
Thanks. Someone made a insert as well but their images was better quality then what I found on the web. I downloaded their 56MB PDF and just took the images.Quote:

Yeah, I don't really care about the presentation/collection aspect of it, but I ALWAYS lose games that are in cardboard inserts. ALWAYS.
Games I have MIA:
VF Remix, Daytona USA, millions of PC games, any demo disc ever, Wing Commander 4 DVD :(
*edit*
Well, my Walmart has more Wimotes/Nunchucks and classic controllers than they have systems, so if the supply runs dry and I can find them here I'll hook anyone up for the cost of shipping.
I'll let you know but I dont think it would do me any good if I cant get it by Thanksgiving (having a party with the gfs family). Johnpv is going to try and help me out with getting one at NWS. I'm going to hit up Walmart in Westbury before they open (7am). Hopefully they have and let me in. Once I get it or not, I'm heading straight to GS to pick up my 3 Wii's
Same here. Then I remember it's totally GC 2 right now and change my mind. Then I remember it's a new console and change my mind again. Repeat x infinity. :(
The kicker is that I have to take a really long trip next week, so I've been thinking about buying a PSP for that and to keep my mind off the new consoles.
I'm going to end up like three hundred bucks poorer by the end of the month somehow, I just know it.
You know what, I am going to have to eat my own words. When I played Elebits, I thought it was so stupid that Wii won't stand a chance with shovelware like that. But today, I got to try Bowling in the pack-in and I gotta say, it is alot more fun than I thought! I really did felt like I was bowling (albeit abit easier), spinning the ball isn't easy (I tend to overspin). I can see my wife and I play many games of bowling.
The tennis game isn't so hot, same thing with baseball. Boxing is kinda mindless fun. I can't wait to see what talented devs can come up with.
I do wish the graphics is abit stronger, Excite Truck looks like a first gen xbox game. Hopefully, the system can pump out better stuff in 2nd/3rd gen lineup.
