Dear blog, I love being host.
You are a skillfull player, but I will not play under those conditions again. I don't know if it's because of this new patch, but the game just doesn't seem to run as smooth now. For instance when you first start off, your guy always does something with his weapon like he's reloading that I don't remember from before, what the hell is that? I can shoot someone directly in the head or blind shot them with my shotgun and before it was a pretty good percentage chance for a kill and now they just turn around and kill me. If this game doesn't start running smooth again off the the trade-in bin it will go.Quote:

I'm with Brad on all counts. I've had my ass handed to me by Cap many times before and never complained but last night was ridiculous. I can't even remember how many times Brad, K3V, and I had Cap in a corner with shotguns blasting right in his face and he killed all 3 of us.
Pulling off that magic trick once in a while is possible. Doing it damn near every time in 1 night is horse shit. I remember a handful of times when it was just Cap left on his team against the same 3 of us and we were running scared because he was like the fucking terminator last night.
Hey Cap, I didn't know "putting my music back on to kick your asses" meant having your toe on the stand-by of your modem. ;)
I don't mind getting my ass kicked, that's not the problem. I'm just saying the game hasn't ran the same for me since the patch. I've checked my connection speed and everything is the same. I believe GlassJoe is having the same issues as I am.Quote:

That's something that I forgot about. The shotgun's range was brutal last night too. Maybe it has been that way since the patch but I just haven't noticed.

I'm willing to believe that it always did that but the other night I think it took much longer than usual which was probably because of the connection. The game runs perfectly 99% of the time and the thing that I find weird about it is when it isn't running perfectly smooth it isn't as noticeable as other games.
I had never noticed a pause at the begining taking as long as it did the other night before you could take off running with your guy. Maybe it was the connection from Cap's game to my connection, I'm not sure about that. When I got off for the night I tested my connection speed to see if I had some issues with my cable and it checked out normal. The same thing was happening to 2 others that evening. I probably never noticed it before because it hadn't ever happened to me and it just seemed really odd and noticable.

Yeah we use to mess up the old nes controllers especially the max which if you remember was conveniently shaped to grab on the extension parts and twist. I am surprised they held up to the abuse they endured.
