Scurge: Hive

Did anyone else pick this up? So far I'm having a ton of fun with it. The best way to describe it would be isometric Metroid. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves Metroid or just adventure games in general. I would say avoid it if you don't dig isometric games though because it has all of the same problems that they all do.

If it wasn't for all the decent DS games coming out I would have checked it out. I think EGM gave it a 6.0 average, box art is pretty nice looking though. *-neo

This game looks fun but I'm not willing to pay full price for it with all the other great DS games available. I'll be all over it when it hits $20. I haven't even seen it in a store yet, is it a really low print run?

It's $20 for the gba version.

Really? I assumed it was $30 GBA $35 DS. Still, I like having the map always visible in Metroid style games so I want the DS version.

I was looking forward to this game then I completely forgot about it. Anything Metroid-ish gets my attention. I didn't know there was a DS version either. It came out at a bad time though as there's so much else to buy. I will probably wait a bit.

apparently the GBA version is the one to get... better in game effects oddly.

I know one reviewer said that, but I don't believe it, as it doesn't make any sense. Also, from the developer:
