Incorrect. They just asked two people to give their opinion. There's no balanced debate there, just trying to show two sides of the story. Two contrasting opinions yeah that's definitely defending the terrorists.
Sounds like a stupid thing to do to me, yes. But how is it that they are being anti-semitic and/or defending terrorists when they report on the atrocities that Israel has committed?Quote:
Story in which they admit to pushing a small boy next to an undetonated Israeli bomb for a photo-op: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5270118.stm
So they're on the Palestinian side of the conflict, like much of Europe is, and just like the US is on the Israeli side. How is that defending terrorists or being anti-semitic? They didn't say they're standing shoulder to shoulder with the terrorists, but that they're standing with the Palestine people.Quote:
Fayad Abu Shamala, the BBC correspondent in Gaza for the past 10 years, speaking at a Hamas rally on May 6, 2001:
"Journalists and media organizations are waging the campaign shoulder-to-shoulder together with the Palestinian people."
A load of obnoxious opinion, but that article just comes down to arguing that the BBC has a leftist leaning... that's like stating Fox has a rightist leaning... big freaking surprise. Plus most of it's about BBC TV programming, not news. Still no proof of your statements.Quote:
Editorial from the U.K. Telegraph (obviously not evidence in and of itself as it's an opinion piece, but it certainly contains evidence): http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/m...ixopinion.html
Sorry, I don't know anything about that so I'm going to need more info.Quote:
Then there's Barbara Plett crying over the death of Yassir Arafat live on the BBC. Should I keep going?
So far you've shown nothing that proves this pro-islamofacist, anti-semitic, defense of terrorists thing.
