Damn, my local TRU is offering a $100 gift card when you purchase a 360, core or premium. Is this just my store, or is this nationwide?

Gears of War looks fine in SD, but many other games are almost unplayable on 480i. The font in Dead Rising and Viva Pinata are meant for HD resolution. Imagine trying to play a PC game in 1024x768 on a monitor that can only do 640x480. Now imagine that 640x480 monitor has scanlines.

You don't have an LCD monitor for your PC?

The TRU promo ends Saturday. But I highly doubt any stores have any left. We blew through a shitload on Sunday and never got any back. Good job TRU for selling an asston of 360s for Microsoft. ;)

LOL @ the PS3. We have a dozen just rotting on the shelf.

DS Lites are selling insanely well also. Nintendo must be laughing to the bank this year.

All of this confirmed. I just went to TRU and they were out of the premium 360, Wii, and even the DS. There were about a dozen PS3s with no one interested.

i was going to post this on monday but the flyer that was online had a $399 price for the system to to get the $100 off. didnt say it was both.

same here. my brother called me thursday and said TRU got botht he ps3 and wii in. an hour later all the wii were gone, yet all 20 ps3's were still there.
