I've never met a cop that didn't have a massive hard-on for the authority that comes with it. Never mind that it's just a job for jocks that couldn't bother learning how to build stuff.

It's a Goddamned taser, you bleeders. Get the fuck over it. He didn't get shot, and he was not harmed in any type of long term fashion.
FUCK!
this thread needs sleeveboy and /or burgundy here to at least give us the pertainant legal info. all i have is what i learned from my karate teacher who was a cop, and that is once a policeman tells you to stop resisting, quit fucking resisting, your little chuck d powertrip is just going to justify an escalation because they dont know if you have a concealed weapon or will try to attack them in some way. you can yell and threaten lawsuits later at the station, but if you keep fighting back, they are still justified in certian levels of force, which you wont enjoy, and once a few cops are on you, thrashing and resisting is not going to do any good whatssoever.
oh here is some info on tasers i found for a quick yahooing.http://www.answers.com/topic/electroshock-gunapparently the incidents of lethal taserings were mostly on people who had dangerous levels of drugs in their systems, and thus it overloaded their already unnaturaly taxed sytems, and resulted in death. what i gleaned is there have been about 170 deaths from taserings out of 71,000 recorded deployments, from a police site i can link to if you wish.
So you're telling me you have no breaking point at all? I've only gotten that angry maybe 3 or 4 times in my entire life, everyone has a point where they at least are tempted to let their emotions take control of their actions. I've never actually hurt somebody before and I havn't done anything excessively violent to somebody (hit, kick, etc.) since I was in middle school but everybody fought back then, since then, maybe a few hard shoves or something of the like over that time period but that's it.
no, im saying that based on what i read, tasers themselves are rarely fatal, and the majority of the fatalities resulted from when a person is already in a comprimised physical state, and would possibly have died from the exertion from conventional grappling subduals.
I was kidding, but that's ok too.
i live to serve :D
