The game is out Tuesday, and the online demo is available now for play. I haven't checked it out in too great detail, going to right now, but if its possible to play with friends, we should get a few games going this weekend. The modes available on the demo are attack and defend, and co-op terrorist hunt.
I'm d/ling this once I get home. Hope this is as fun as the single player demo was.
Played a little bit with Mog, and I am very dissapointed. The graphics are pathetic compared to the single player, and after GoW, it looks like an Xbox game. The gameplay didn't impress me much either, but maybe with a room full of TNL folk will change my mind. After this first impression, I can see myself playing GoW online for a while still, with this game being mainly for single player action.
Really? I thought this had real substance. GoW is great and all but this just seems better online overall. I thought it looked just fine in multi. Yeah its no GoW but its smooth.Quote:

At first I still wasn't feeling this game, and went back to GoW, but after some GoW action, I eas craving a bit more slower paced action, and went back to R6. I had a blast playing with Hiro and New Age on co-op last night, We managed to make it through all the Mexico levels and did the first Vegas map. It is not overly enjoyable playing with random people, but as always, so much more fun with TNL people. This game will definately be a hit if we can get a 4v4 or 5v5 TNL room going.

Yeah, we pretty much dominated those guys. I think I had at least 17 kills that second match. The sad thing is that if they just split up and tried different routes instead of fast roping down the middle they might have stood a chance.Quote:

Co-op yesterday was a shitload of fun, I'll definitely be on for more after the 1pm football games.
Man I really wanted to get in on this action. I'll be around all day just working on a bit of school work here and there.

Yeah, so co-op Terrorist Hunt on realistic is the best thing ever.
I'm not doing anything but story til I beat it. That being said, TONIGHT IMO.

Its great that stuff got fixed, but theres a lot of shit there that should'nt have made it into the retail release anyways.
So this might be a stupid questions, since I haven't played much Versus, but is it possible to turn off the radar in Team Survival?

I can't believe people are playing boring ass GoW over this.
I just d/led the demo and I have to admit I'm not that impressed. The graphics are a lot worse than I was expecting and more importantly the cover mechanic doesn't feel nearly as tight as GoW. I've only put in about 20 minutes with the demo so I could be missing something, I'll play more.
i believe the demo contains lower textures than the actual game. not sure though.
But....the game is tight. I believe it has a lot more replay value than GOW.
Textures are the same in the demo, as far as I can tell. The full version, however, has a much more stable framerate (though it's still 30 FPS.)

I've been playing the shit out of this online lately (finished co-op story mode and didn't get the achievement :( ).
Anyone up for some online play? Random people suck sometimes, though I have gotten to play with some cool guys, but I'd really love to hunt terrorists with some TNLers.

Havent played this for awhile online. Its still completely full of stat whoring assholes. Every single game I joined people were being gay. Last game I played was just 2 vs 2 with my friend who doesnt play much being my partner. We were playing retrieval and actually winning. We lost the match to the same team before who bragged on how many points they got. So we started to kick their ass in the last few minutes and I was about to put the nail in the coffin when they fucking kicked both of us out! What a bunch of goddamn pussies. I'm sick of this shit in online gaming. Fucking stats and leveling up shit need to stay the hell out of my online games. Yes there still would be assholes without them, but far less since nobodies precious points would be involved.
My bro and I play this, we should team up with the Mogs. We were playing last night and ran into the same thing "WOAH I GOT SO MANY POINTS AGAINST THESE NOOBS LOL"

I agree with you all the way. Stats/points/exp pretty much ruin games. Take Lost Planet for the latest example. I get kicked out of room because I am not lvl 40 yet when I do finally find a room I can play in I make it in the top 3. GoW has it right where there is no stat or point system. You play on merit alone and what you bring to the actual game.Quote:
