Anyone is free to enjoy any game on any console, and the many less "capable" systems of any particular generation were and are obviously home to quality games. But there's no escaping the fact that "video" is generally critical, if not paramount, to videogames, and arguing that, on balance, the graphics simply don't matter is beyond ridiculous. That doesn't mean you can't have fun playing tetris, just like you can have fun playing any game (video or otherwise) that doesn't place heavy emphasis on cutting edge visuals. But again, graphic fidelity is a central component to the medium, and, all things being equal, better graphics are better than poorer graphics. Duh.
