It's just someone's opinion. That's all it is. Why are Wii supporters so defensive?

It has nothing to do with being defensive. It has to do with being irritated by useless repetitive posts. Am I getting pissed at you?
Sweet Jesus, this thread has gone waaaaaaaay off track. Allow me to steer the conversation back in the proper direction.
*ahem*
Lol @ PS3.
I would like to play Resistance, but I am simply not spending $660 for the privilege until more games are on shelves. I don't think Zelda is even close to worth $300, but unfortuntely, that is below my impulse purchase line, so when I actually see a Wii that doesn't require standing in line, I will probably buy one, despite the fact it has zero games that I have to play, and the VC is worthless so far. I guess price really does make that much of a difference.
Oblivion for $460 was a hell of a lot better deal than Resistance for $660 or Zelda for $300 though.
I'd rather play Resistance than Zelda, so I don't think "notafuckingthing" is all that accurate. Both launches are pretty weak, as was the 360's.
And what amazing flagship titles did the 360 have when it launched? Or the PS3? It took the 360 almost a year to get a title that has been rated as well as the Wii's flagship launch title.
Look at what you just said. Why sell a console at a loss when you can make more money selling it at a profit? They're going to have software sales either way.
You saying that the controller doesn't allow for innovation is the same as someone arguing that powerful systems can't lead to innovation. They're both retarded arguments. The technology is there, wether its innovative or not depends on what developers do with it. It took the 360 months, if not a year to get a title that REALLY utilized the system's abilities. Why are you jumping the gun on the Wii and expecting AAA innovation right out the door? They're fucking launch titles.
Agreed, but the difference in the Wii and the PS3 is price, not games. If it were $300 vs. $400 no one would be buying a Wii.
