As for the gameplay and not liking it, well then since it is new, you will have to wait for more games to come out as the developers get more experience and ideas for new things. It started that way with the Atari, and onto other games getting better overall...graphix mainly for that matter back in the day.
And lastly, Sure there's no way Resistance could have been done on the previous generation, and some Wii games could be done on the GameCube....but there's no way any of these games could have been played the same way they are being played now.
P.S. the Wii is twice as powerfull as the GameCube according to i dunno who...but hey, who gives a shit since all buying the system are mainly doing it for the new experience?

I am not saying graphics are everything, but what the hell? You have to make them better, right? And as I said in the Wii launch thread, Wii Sports doesn't have good control at all! Rockstar Table Tennis has MUCH better control. And it looks good!
Just because Nintendo says "GAMERS DONT CARE ABOUT HD" does not make it so. Great, it gets Grandma playing games. I am thrilled. Really. I would love for the industry to shift and cater to grandma and people that DON'T EVEN PLAY VIDEOGAMES.
