I would like to point out that you people keep arguing with a person who still can't even figure out how to use the quote button after having been here for over three years.

The 360 is incredible. Xbox Live is incredible. No one else has come even close to doing it as well as MS has.

I bought a Wii at launch, and I expect Nintendo will put out enough games to keep me entertained with the Wii as a secondary system (read: 1 to 2 good games a year). The retarded friends system is stupid and cumbersome. Zelda is amazing but the Wii part is definitely useless and tacked on. I think it will be a better GC game than a Wii game, easily, but I didn't want to wait. Trauma Center is awesome but nowhere near worth $50, like most Atlus games.

I can't see a single person (here anyway) having a Wii as their only console. I'd be shocked if it isn't like Nintendos' last 2 consoles where you pretty much only buy first party games that come out 4 months apart.

so basically I can either spend $500 on a shitty PC for Mame or get a PS3 for Mame (given that PS3 Mame will eventually exist). I'd rather get the system. And wouldn't you know that for my values and desires, that makes the PS3 more worthwhile than a 360 or Wii right off the bat.

why doesn't he just use the PC he has now to run mame? fuck 90% of the games on mame run perfectly on old ass hardware, I had a PIII 800 that ran most the shit on mame pretty damn well.

It really wouldn't surprise me to find out that Nintendo was inspired by Xavix.

Considering how she loves these games, I told her about the Wii, believing she'd be really excited for it. Surprisingly, she wasn't. She said these things are a novelty and are only fun when you're bored on a Saturday afternoon. That's how I feel about the Wii right now. Hopefully something like Nights comes out that will really make me itching to get one.
