Smooth.
I had a hard time understanding anything that happened in that video.
Cell phone video ftl. Kramer is rad, btw.
All I could get out of the video near the last half (since the first part is incomprehensible due to the cell phone and his spazzing out) was that he gradually lost it on stage because someone in the audience who was black interrupted him?
"Ohhhh, see the language still shocks you!" What on earth was that supposed to mean? He also said something about "50 years ago we would've had ya..."?
His private eye comedy spin off was awful. What they should have done was made a spin off featuring Kramer and Newman. Would have lasted as long as Frasier easily. But according to the DVD interviews, Richards didn't feel comfortable when the writers had him and Newman become sidekicks (even though they worked off each other brilliantly)
Julia Louis Dreyfuss's The New Adventures of Old Christine is flat out awful both acting and writing. I was surprised it won a major emmy. I can't believe how wimpy, dumpy and dull her character is in that show. Christine is a bigger loser than George Costanza ever was. The show has none of her old zing ie: Elaine stealing all the TP out of Monk's bathroom to spite Jerry's "spare a square" paper obsessed gf. Instead we get a bunch of dorky supporting hack actors ragging on her about her dating life he have the worst acting chops I have seen since Full House or War at Home.
Anyways....say it aint so, Cosmo. :( Will be interesting to see his explanation and Jerry's reaction. O_o
Thats what happens when you fuck with a white man.
And yeah, this video is shitty. But I saw it earlier today on tv with much better quality.
You can turn the quality up in the preferences to make the video watchable
I think if you get offended by jokes you really don't belong in a comedy club. West coast audiences are such pussies. I wish I could have seen the joke that sent the audience into a froth to begin with. I'm sure it was something fairly innocuous.
I was going to post this.
From what I gathered two black guys in the balcony were heckling him and yelling that he wasn't funny and that's when he started to yell "Nigger" over and over again.
Confirmed.
That would have been... slightly less awful I think. I loved the two of them on Seinfeld, but carrying their own show? No way. No how.
The War at Home is actually pretty funny. Acting is fine, at least for a sitcom.
I did like Julia's first post-Seinfeld show... can't remember the name just now. It was the one with the countdown on-screen. Anyway, I only saw one episode, but I thought it was cool.
I still curse Jerry sometimes for ending Seinfeld when he did. Everybody else was up for more. The last two seasons had the best shows in my opinion, with the most intricately intertwining story lines, as well as George really going off the deep-end and becoming a complete sociopath.
